I currently lead product design, brand, and user experience for EPIX, a premium national television network. I work very closely with product management, content strategy, and development counterparts. Together we develop innovative ideas, craft POCs and potential features for our portfolio of consumer-facing experiences as well as our homegrown CMS.
Prior to joining EPIX, I served as Senior Art Director for Weber Shandwick, where I was responsible for user interface design across web projects across multiple brands including Unilever, Tums, and Michelob Ultra.
Previously, I worked at NBCUniversal, where I was the sole designer for the team responsible for innovation programs and products around emerging technology trends affecting company strategy.
EPIX
As a design director at EPIX, I oversee design and feature initiatives—from concept to launch—for two distinct streams: Product and Brand Design. As a product design manager, I oversee the execution of design artifacts such as sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, visual designs, interaction design, and developer handoff, while taking a hands-on approach to implementation and collaboration during software development. That includes balancing tactical implementation with big-picture strategic thinking, along with the day-to-day management of a product design team.
As the lead for Brand Design, I oversee aspects of our digital product ecosystem related to the marketing of EPIX —including EPIX.com and any areas of the streaming service that feature recommendations or the EPIX point of view, on and off-platform.
Projects I have spearheaded at EPIX include:
NBCUniversal
I served as the sole designer for Media Labs at NBCUniversal. I conceptualized user experience for a variety of projects including Interactive Video (SVOD/AVOD), “360-degree” Immersive Video, and Virtual Reality.
I was also responsible for UI design for Second Screen app Zeebox, a companywide platform that was awarded one of Time Magazines Top 50 apps of all time.
